Wonders of Xandar Experience

New York Comic Con - To launch Guardians of the Galaxy at EPCOT, we treated the rollout like a world you could step into, not a message you simply received. We built an in-universe “Xandar” presence that could travel from fandom culture to the park itself, translating the attraction’s tone into real-world touchpoints that felt like they belonged in the Guardians story. The result was an experience built to be discovered and shared: a live activation, character-driven content and social-native moments that made the launch feel playful and unmistakably Marvel, while still operating at Disney scale.

The “Xandar” activation drew 7,000 booth visitors, generated over one million impressions, and earned placement in Adweek’s roundup of the most mind-blowing brand activations at New York Comic Con. The momentum carried forward into the park, helping drive record-breaking traffic at EPCOT and proving the power of a launch idea that can live across culture, channels and place without losing the core feeling.
